Daniel Reifsnyder first got bit by the music bug when he began taking piano lessons at the age of three. By age six, he was singing and writing his own songs. Not content to rest his laurels, by the time he was a teenager he had well over six hundred songs to his name and was one of the youngest published songwriters in the world by age ten. In addition to receiving a Billboard World Song Contest honor, his songs have appeared in multiple compliation CDs and he has had a few recent indie cuts. Most notably, his song “Woman Up”, sung by American Idol alum Tori Martin stormed the Texas charts (#21), and received a Grammy nomination for Song of the Year. “Cold Front”, another recent cut of his, appeared on Nashville artist Alayna’s recent EP and reached #30 on the UK iTunes charts. According to reviewers, his lyrics have been called "catchy and substantive", and he writes songs that get "stuck in your head and won't leave you alone". Although Daniel's true passion is music, he has also had a successful acting career since age eight, appearing in commercials such as Day's Inn, Wendy's, General Mills Cereals, and more. He has also sung on thousands of jingles and recordings, including "My Christmas Tree" for Home Alone 2, and The Magic Schoolbus theme (w/Little Richard). In his spare time, Daniel conducts interviews and writes articles for Global Songwriters Connectionas well as his own blog: www.songsmithing.net
He lives in Nashville with his wife and their rescue pets.
